Last Chance to See...

It won't be official until early next week, but this is going to be the last Buick Open played in Grand Blanc - one of the oldest PGA Tour events. That means, barring a schedule change, this will be Tiger Woods' last playing appearance in Michigan until another major comes to Oakland Hills, and that probably won't happen until somewhere around 2018.

That's sad, because he's played here 11 times since 1996, and I've covered 10 of the 11. We've gotten a bit spoiled.

Yeah, Colorado usually gets him once a year (at the International with the Stableford scoring). Or maybe not always. Oklahoma gets him twice every three or four years, depending on what Twin Hills is doing . . .

It's good to be in Southern California or Ohio if you're a Tiger fan . . . .
